The Entity Boss Guide
ReportedThe Entity
The conspiracy the game keeps promising. "In His Own Image" is the tell.
Endgame
In His Own Image
Defeat the Entity.
Confirmed by trophy list only. The Steam description promises that you will "unravel a conspiracy that threatens all of humanity", and Napoleon's story thread is that the war has become something unnatural. The Entity, with a trophy named after the Genesis phrasing for creation, reads as the author of the plague rather than its product. This is the one fight where the game's own marketing is doing the foreshadowing for you.

Threats and how to answer them
Unfamiliar rules
InferenceTell: theorycraft: the fight asks for a mechanic you have used but not mastered.
Answer: Expect to need parry, weak points and Transmutations at once. Practise each system in the field before the door.
The approach
Before you walk in
- Clear the optional content first. The trophy list confirms six named side quests, and endgame gear usually lives behind them.
- Bring a Firearm fully upgraded. Ranged damage on an entity with a huge hitbox is rarely wasted.
The loop that wins
- Identify the single rule and respect it. Entity fights are solved by a mechanic, not by a health bar.
What loses the fight
- Do not save-scum the finale. If a choice changes the ending, the trophy list will tell you what you missed.
Weaknesses and loadout
What it is weak to
- theorycraft: non-humanoid final entities usually gate damage behind a mechanic you learn in earlier chapters
Suggested loadout
- Melee
- Fully upgraded
- Firearm
- Fully upgraded
- Transmutation
- Fully upgraded; the trophy list treats maxing a Transmutation as a milestone
- Amber
- A full five-slot Amber loadout
Rewards
- In His Own Image trophy / achievement
